Ten blinds is the stack most tournament players face most often, and it is where the jam-or-fold simplification is at its strongest: you have just enough chips that folding still has option value, and just few enough that any raise smaller than all-in is a mistake. Every hand on this chart is either a shove or a fold — there is no third option to agonise over.

Compared with 8bb, every range tightens. That is the whole logic of push/fold in one sentence: the deeper you get, the more you have to lose by being called, so the more equity you need to justify the shove. The button drops from 39% to 36%, the small blind from 73% to 69%. Track the same hand across the 8bb, 10bb, 12bb and 15bb charts and you can watch it fall out of the range.

Use the EV column to build intuition rather than memorise cells. The hands that make real money are the ones showing +0.3bb and up; the hands that quietly cost you are the ones you were sure about that show a negative number.

FAQ

What is the correct 10bb shoving range from the button?

About 36% of hands at a 9-handed table — all pairs, most suited aces and kings, suited broadways and connectors, plus a band of offsuit broadways. The chart gives the exact hands and the EV of each one; hands sitting between +0.00 and +0.05bb are close to indifferent.

Are these Nash charts exact?

They are a self-computed chip-EV Nash equilibrium (Monte-Carlo hand-class equity, 25,000 samples per matchup) with the exploitability of each stack printed at the bottom of the page. They are accurate enough to play, but they are an approximation, not a solved oracle: they ignore ICM, and the model does not apply card removal to the callers' range, so offsuit aces are slightly undervalued.

Push/fold tables are a self-computed chip-EV Nash equilibrium (Monte-Carlo hand-class equity, 25,000 samples, seed 1234). Known limits, stated plainly: they ignore ICM, and the model does not apply card removal to the callers' range — so offsuit aces, which block a caller's AA/AK/AQ/AJ, are slightly undervalued. Exploitability for this stack: 0.024 bb/hand.
